Caprylic acid is a naturally-occurring fatty acid with the ability to disintegrate yeast cell walls. Thus caprylic acid can help control candida overgrowth and normalize flora in the intestinal tract.

Nature’s Sunshine Caprylic Acid Combination are in enteric coated capsules which release only in the upper intestinal tract. The combination includes black walnut and elecampane, which are both known for their yeast-fighting properties.

Ingredients:

Each gelatin capsule (gelatin, water) contains 400 mg of the finest caprylic acid (300 mg), with elecampane root, black walnut hulls, and red rasp-berry leaves. Each capsule is enterically coated, allowing the contents to be released in the intestinal tract.
