YF DTX
How it Works
A healthy body is host to a delicate balance of friendly microflora. For example, the mucous membranes of the mouth, sinuses, lungs, intestines, uterus and vagina are lined with protective bacteria. These body tissues are attacked by yeast and fungus when the bacteria are killed, or their balance compromised through various factors such as poor diet and some prescription medications. Excesses of yeast and fungus can compromise the immune, digestive and urinary systems.
The story behind YF DTX
Echinacea grows all over North America, its beautiful pinkish-purple coneflower dotting yards and meadows alike. But this herb goes back several centuries. In fact, Native American tribes of the Great Plains have been using it for 400 years! Likewise, several communities prized pau d’arco for its health benefits. According to records, the Incas, Kallawayas and other native South American peoples enjoyed its many healing properties. In Portuguese, pau d’arco means “bow tree.” That makes sense when you realize that its rot-resistant wood makes excellent hunting bows. And the natives harvested it for just that. Many people from the region are familiar with its other names: taheebo tea and lapacho. Referenced independently in ancient medical texts all over the world (Egypt, Greece, Rome, China and India), garlic has been a mainstay of herbal practitioners for thousands of years. Mic drop.
